About

I’m Massimiliano Sticca, a commercial photographer based in Turin. I work with brands, agencies and businesses across Italy and internationally, photographing campaigns, events, interiors and the people behind them.

I took my first photographs at fourteen with my father’s Nikon F401. Travel was part of family life, and the camera soon became my way of exploring unfamiliar places. That curiosity has stayed with me, from wildlife and landscapes to the commercial work I do today.

I enjoy the different demands of each assignment: finding the right light in a room, building an image around a product or anticipating a moment at an event. Some photographs take careful preparation; others depend on paying attention and knowing when to act.

I work directly with my clients and bring in trusted collaborators when a project calls for video or a wider production team. You speak with me throughout, from the first conversation to the final images.

Alongside commissioned work, I continue to photograph travel and wildlife. I have also shared my experience through workshops and photography courses for Nikon School. Personal projects and teaching keep me looking at photography from different perspectives.
